The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulates all electronic devices that generate radio frequency signals. Signals can be unintentionally radiated, as in the case of computer processors, power supplies, and other electronic components that generate radio energy. Signals can also be intentionally radiated, as in the case of Digicall® exchanging signals between the instructor's console and student headsets. All radio devices must carry FCC identifications that certify the equipment's operation will not cause interference with other devices and must accept interference by other devices. Digicall® is certified by the FCC, and it has been designed and extensively tested to perform reliably while meeting strict regulatory agency standards. So before buying ANY electronic product -- especially products from foreign sources -- you should ensure that the devices are, in fact, properly certified by the FCC. Otherwise, you could be subject to penalties for operating nonapproved devices.
